Jim’s paintings reflect his appreciation for the animals and vistas of Montana, the majesty of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the lighthouses of the East Coast, the hills of Tuscany, the vineyards of California and Italy, and favorite locations in Arizona, Hawaii and Ireland.
Now living in Montana, Jim enjoys the challenge of painting outdoors en plein air as well as working in his studio. His favorite media are oils and acrylics. Jim studied Fine Arts at El Camino College and Golden West College, in Southern California.
Besides painting, Jim’s hobbies include traveling, playing the guitar and cooking.
